The Roulette wheel contains 37 pockets, numbered from 0 to 36. Among these:
36 pockets are colored red or black
The 0 pocket is colored green
In a game of Roulette, the dealer spins the wheel in one direction and then launches a ball along a tilted circular track that runs around the wheel’s outer edge. As the ball slows down, it passes through a series of deflectors before eventually dropping into one of the numbered pockets.
The pocket where the ball lands determines the winning number and color. For a spin to be valid, the ball must complete at least four full revolutions around the wheel before settling in a pocket.
